At Bamboo Edge, we are committed to ensuring you are fully satisfied with your purchase. We want your experience with our sustainable home and personal-care products to be simple and satisfying. This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds are handled for purchases made on bambooedge.com.

We accept returns, provided that the item is in its original condition, unused, with all tags and labels attached, and returned in the original packaging (including all accessories and freebies). You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most non-perishable, non-custom products.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Eligible items:

β€’Β Unused, in original condition with tags, labels, packaging and any freebies/accessories included.

β€’Β Items that show no signs of wear, damage, or misuse.

β€’Β Items purchased directly from bambooedge.com.

Items not eligible for return:

β€’Β Opened or used personal care items (soaps, oils, creams) β€” for hygiene reasons.

β€’Β Undergarments, swimwear, and intimate items.

β€’Β Perishable goods (food items, fresh bamboo shoots).

β€’Β Customised or made-to-order items, unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.

β€’Β Clearance, final sale, or promotional "no-return" items (as stated on the product page).

β€’Β Items returned without original packaging or missing parts.

2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

β€’Β Photos clearly showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item

β€’Β A brief description of the issue

For faulty or incorrect items, Bamboo Edge will arrange a free pick-up and inspection, and then offer repair, replacement, or a full refund (including return shipping charges) at our discretion. If inspection confirms the fault, we will process the appropriate remedy within 5–10 business days.

3. How to Initiate a Return

β€’Β Log in to your Bamboo Edge account and go to Orders > Return/Exchange, OR

β€’Β Visit our Returns Portal at bambooedge.com/returns, OR

β€’Β Email customercare@bambooedge.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).

Once the return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label (if eligible) along with packing and pickup/drop-off instructions. Items should be returned within 48 hours of approval unless otherwise agreed.

4. Return Shipping Charges

β€’Β Free returns: Return shipping is free for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items.

β€’Β Customer-paid returns: For change-of-mind returns, return shipping charges apply as per courier rates or a flat fee shown during return initiation. In some promotional periods, we may offer free change-of-mind returns β€” details will be shown at checkout or in the returns flow.

5. Refunds β€” Timing & Method

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it for any damages or missing components. If the item meets the return criteria, we will process your refund.

β€’Β Refund method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method (card, netbanking, UPI) wherever possible.

β€’Β For COD orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer or store credit unless otherwise agreed.

β€’Β Standard processing time: 5–10 business days from inspection completion.

β€’Β Bank or payment gateway processing times may add additional days depending on your provider.

β€’Β Partial refunds may apply if the returned item shows signs of use, missing parts, or reduced value.

No COD Returns: Cash on Delivery (COD) orders are not eligible for return by default. Any COD convenience fee is non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a product fault.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are processed as a return followed by a new order for the replacement item.

β€’Β If the replacement item is of higher price, payment of the price difference is required at the time of exchange.

β€’Β For lower-priced replacements, the balance will be refunded.

β€’Β Exchange availability is subject to stock.

7. Warranty Returns

For products that carry a warranty (see product page for warranty details), warranty claims are handled separately from standard returns. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photos/videos of the issue. Bamboo Edge will advise on repair, replacement, or other remedies per the warranty terms.

8. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to deny returns or refunds where we suspect fraudulent or abusive activity. Repeated misuse of the returns policy may result in cancellation of accounts or order limits.
